Toronto Kiwanis Grants
The Toronto Kiwanis Foundation annually provides funds to many organizations to support their work with children and youth in the community.
Because 2017 is our Centennial year, Kiwanis Toronto had an ambitious, one-time only approach to grant applications. We awarded 100 grants to 100 charitable organizations helping children and youth in Toronto - each with a value of $2500. Also eligible were programs from Toronto-based charities that help indigenous youth or that are helping children in the developing world. The applicants who were successful and received a 2017 grant were then able to apply for the Community Achievement Award valued at $40,000 - which was awarded to MJKO at our Gala on September 21.
