"Serving the children of the world"

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.
In 2017, Toronto Kiwanis will have been serving the children and youth of Toronto for 100 years!

Focus: Play and Playgrounds

The club members have chosen to focus on Play and Playgrounds and will be undertaking programs and providing funding support for organizations involved.

Play: Our new 2018 Play Grant opportunity is now "live" and Toronto-based charities have until August 15, 2018 to apply for up to $5,000 toward a play-related program.  The online application is at: http://www.torontokiwanis.ca/playgrant.  Note, maximum of one application per charity.

Playgrounds:  We're looking for opportunities to support the building and/or maintenance of a playground - particularly but not excusively in the "downtown" Toronto area.   If you know of a community organization or group looking for assistance with a playground project, feel free to let us know!  Perhaps we can help make it a reality.

Hurricane Relief - Donations Now Accepted, and will be Matched!

Kiwanis Club of Toronto's Foundation will match all donations up to $12,500 to help the GlobalMedic team of volunteers in the Caribbean assisting with the ongoing rebuilding and recovery effort.

100 Slides for 100 Years: Celebrating the Centennial of the Kiwanis Club of Toronto

Toronto Kiwanis meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at noon at the National Club (303 Bay St.) in downtown Toronto.  Please see our meeting information if you would like to attend.

The Kiwanis Club of Toronto Foundation and its endowments enable us to help fund the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club, the Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival, post-secondary scholarships for deserving young minds, and a wide-range of organizations in the GTA that provide children and youth with the chance to experience, dream, and succeed!

Toronto Kiwanians also participate in Kiwanis International’s Global Campaign for Children in partnership with UNICEF.  This “Eliminate Project” is eradicating maternal and neonatal tetanus.  Our club was founded on fellowship and service to children, and these values continue.  We invite you to discover more about Toronto Kiwanis and the impact we have in our community.

If you are looking for an opportunity to be part of an organization that is committed to helping others, and do so in a way that you help define, then Kiwanis can be a great fit.
