Kiwanis One Day – GlobalMedic Food Boxes Deliveries

🔹We have an alternative opportunity! On Saturday October 28, volunteers can pick-up and deliver packaged dried food boxes from the GlobalMedic Oakville location at 1494 Wallace Rd anytime after 9:30am

🔹Each box is 11-3/8″ x 9-3/8″ 10-1/8″ in size and weighs approximately 11.2 kg (25 lbs).

*Based on average car size we may need 3-4 volunteers per location. (e.g. 15 boxes ÷ 3 volunteers = 5 boxes each volunteer)

🔹The 4 food bank partners you can deliver to in Toronto are:

–Impact Lives Church Address: 1274 Martin Grove Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 4X3

Delivery Hours: Saturday, Oct 28 from 10:00am – 11:00am

-Food Quantity: 30 boxes (approximately 6 boxes per volunteer)

–Parkdale Community Food Bank Address: 1499 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M6R 1A3

Delivery Hours: Saturday, Oct 28 from 9:00am – 2:00pm

Food Quantity: 20 boxes (approximately 5 boxes per volunteer)

–The Neighborhood Organization – Food Collective Address: 45 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H 1C3

Delivery Hours: Saturday, Oct 28 from 10:00am – 2:00pm

Food Quantity: 20 boxes (approximately 5 boxes per volunteer)

–St. James Food Basket Address: 400 Burnhamthorpe Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9B 2A8

Food Quantity: 15 boxes (approximately 5 boxes per volunteer)
