1) Mentorship and Leadership Grant

These challenging times highlight the role of effective leaders in building resilient communities. In response, the Kiwanis Club of Toronto has chose to focus on supporting mentorship and leadership opportunities of children and youth in Toronto with grants up to $10,000 each.

This grant will support initiatives that inspire children and youth to become leaders in their communities. Funding will contribute towards programs that encourage the development of transferable leadership skills, such as decision-making, teamwork, goal setting, time management and community involvement, to name a few.

2) Arts and Culture Grant

The Kiwanis Club of Toronto Foundation is excited to again offer this granting initiative which we introduced in 2022 to support organizations that provide programming for children and youth with a focus on the arts.

Grants of up to $10,000 each will support initiatives that facilitate the creation of art as a tool for the development of young minds, and/or coping and supporting mental health by children and youth in Toronto.  These grants will fund programs that encourage young people to express themselves through creative endeavours.

Community Impact Award

All grant applicants also have the opportunity to apply for our Community Impact Award (CIA) — up to $40,000 in additional funding!

This year, we will be awarding our CIA to an exceptional charity in the amount of $40,000. The CIA is open to all applicants of our Arts grants and Mentorship/Leadership grants. The recipient of the CIA will be a charity which best explains how the additional funding of $40,000 will impact the organization, their existing programming, and the community through new and innovative programming.
