Our Foundation

Incorporated in 1953, the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Foundation is a charitable organization that funds programs and organizations supporting children and youth in Toronto.

The Foundation’s source of funds stem primarily from the generous gifts of Torontonians who choose to create a powerful legacy within the community.

As a charity, it is able to accept donations and issue tax receipts, and therefore giving to the Foundation makes an excellent social investment.  It is a Public Foundation and our registration number is: 105223051 RR0001.

The funds are expertly managed; and, the distribution of funds to charities is done in a thorough and thoughtful way to ensure the money is given to reputable charitable organizations working with children and youth.

The Foundation also supports

  • international projects such as The Eliminate Project in partnership with UNICEF and Sleeping Children Around the World, a Toronto-based charity that has delivered more than ONE MILLION bed kits to children around the world
  • BGC Toronto Kiwanis
  • Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival
  • post-secondary scholarships for deserving young minds
  • & a wide-range of organizations in the GTA that provide children and youth with the chance to experience, dream, and succeed!
